Otherwise known as DJ Mingram, Mike has also been known to rock a mean acoustic guitar. He teams up with Kayla, who recently won the "Sing the National Anthem at Wrigley Field" contest in Chicago. Mike will keep you moving with an array of pop songs, rap, oldies, classic rock and everything in between, while Kayla will blow you away with her impressive range and unique voice. Sangamon River Music Festival - Friday, August 26 and Saturday, August 27, 2011
Mahomet's premier music festival is back! Two nights of music, carnival rides, merchant booths and lots of fun in downtown Mahomet. Friday night features King's Highway and Feudin Hillbillies on the main stage. Saturday starts with a parade around town at 10 a.m. and a car show from 2 p.m. - 6:30 p.m. Saturday's music lineup includes Apologetix, Renegades, Poprocks and the Blooze Brothers. Look for our food booth, that will have special food offerings for you as you walk around the event.
Come on by JT Walker's throughout the weekend to enjoy food, drinks or just some nice air conditioning. We will be open from 11 a.m. - 1 a.m. on Friday and Saturday.
